About Jacksonville Tax Lady LLC
We are a year-round, full service tax firm. We prepare returns for individuals and businesses and provide tax counseling and consulting services. We also represent individuals and businesses in collections and audits. Representation services are provided to help clients work with the IRS and the Oregon Department of Revenue.
Many people wonder about the designation “Enrolled Agent.” The IRS grants that license to people who are “Enrolled to Practice before the IRS.” To obtain this title, one must study and pass tests on almost every aspect of tax law: Individual, Business, Corporations, Partnerships, Payroll, Retirement, Collections and Ethics. What the license means is that we can represent people for audits, collections and other tax issues. Representation means that during an audit, the client can go fishing and the enrolled agent will go the IRS on his behalf.
Our motto is that we “take the fear out of taxes.” At The Jacksonville Tax Lady LLC, we explain your tax situation to you in plain English. We want you to understand your tax return or collection situation. We have been located in a convenient office on Fifth Street in Jacksonville Oregon since 2004 and service the entire Rogue Valley.

My training before taxes included degrees in Biochemistry, Electrical Engineering and Business. With that background, taxes seemed like a natural small business because taxes are like a puzzle to solve—piecing together the best tax situation for the client.
I work with individuals, businesses and non-profit groups, specializing in corporations, LLC’s and partnerships.
Although I am not a native of Oregon, Jacksonville is the first place that has felt like home. Owning land just outside of town and a business in town has me living the best years of my life.

I graduated from Lancaster University in England in 1983. For the next 20 years I worked in business management for mid-sized and large companies, including Sodexho Services and Public Storage. A lifestyle change brought me into the world of tax preparation, and the new love of my life, “Tax law.” I am an Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant, engaged in the preparation of Personal, Partnership, and Trust tax returns. I am available year round to assist you with your income tax needs.
